The Hart's Hill story became intertwined with the Lichorowic family in 1963, when Matt Lichorowic purchased the historic Whitesboro property. Hospitality was already part of the family's foundation: generations of Lichorowics had built careers in restaurants and large-scale functions throughout the region. Over the decades that followed, Hart's Hill grew into a trusted Central New York destination for weddings, banquets, catering, and celebrations of every kind.

Today, that tradition is entering a new chapter.

Hart's Hill Catering & Events brings together the longstanding hospitality tradition of the Lichorowic family with the culinary and catering expertise of Patrick O'Connor—a name familiar to generations of Central New York clients.

Patrick built his reputation through decades in the local catering industry, including A Moveable Feast and Feast & Festivities by O'Connor's. Feast & Festivities grew into one of the region's established catering and event companies, serving weddings, private celebrations, corporate functions, nonprofit organizations, and events at venues throughout Central New York and beyond.

Now, the experience behind those two names comes together at Hart's Hill.

Scott Lichorowic brings generations of family hospitality, event experience, and the legacy of a venue that has served the community for decades. Patrick brings extensive culinary expertise and years of experience taking exceptional food and service beyond the walls of a traditional venue. Together, they've created a Hart's Hill that honors where both stories began while expanding what they can offer today's clients.

It's the next generation of Hart's Hill: rooted in tradition, strengthened by experience, and built to make celebrating easier.

The People Behind Hart's Hill

Scott Lichorowic

For Scott Lichorowic, Hart's Hill isn't simply a business—it's a family legacy. The Lichorowic family's connection to Hart's Hill began in 1963 when Matt Lichorowic purchased the Inn, adding another chapter to a family history in the restaurant and hospitality industry that had already stretched across generations.

Today, Scott continues that tradition while looking toward what Hart's Hill can become next. Alongside his family and team, he has helped Hart's Hill evolve beyond its roots as a traditional banquet venue into a growing catering and events company serving clients both on-site and throughout the region.

For Scott, that growth doesn't mean leaving the traditions of Hart's Hill behind. It means building upon them—combining the personal relationships and hospitality that have defined the family business for decades with new services that make planning and hosting an event easier than ever.

Patrick O'Connor

Patrick O'Connor has spent decades building a name in Central New York's culinary and catering community. Through A Moveable Feast and later Feast & Festivities by O'Connor's, Patrick became associated with weddings, private celebrations, corporate functions, nonprofit events, and venue partnerships throughout the region. Feast & Festivities itself grew to serve clients across a broad area stretching from Syracuse to Albany and Watertown to Binghamton.

His experience extends far beyond preparing a great meal. Successful off-site catering requires understanding venues, logistics, staffing, timing, presentation, dietary needs, service, and the hundreds of details guests may never see—and Patrick brings that experience to every event. Feast & Festivities' own event materials reflect the logistical depth involved in catering everything from private residences to venues requiring additional equipment and staffing.

Today, Patrick brings that culinary expertise to Hart's Hill Catering & Events, where his experience complements the Lichorowic family's generations-long tradition of hospitality. He's also helping extend the Hart's Hill experience into new spaces, including overseeing the culinary direction of The Terrace at Munson.

Together, Scott and Patrick represent two sides of what makes Hart's Hill unique: the tradition of making people feel at home and the expertise to bring an exceptional event almost anywhere.
